Takeo Squared and Uh Oh Baby Graduate Placement Program
While September was a quieter month for the Placement Program, two of our beautiful retired racehorses headed off to begin the next stage of their lives.
Uh Oh Baby
We can't say enough good things about sweet Uh Oh Baby! Being a well-manner gentleman who is ready for next adventure, aftercare charity Win Place Home bestowed upon him the name of Bilbo - after The Hobbit. He will eventually be available for adoption as a trail and western pleasure horse.
As a runner, he made five starts, won twice and earned $65,736. Bilbo was the first winner for his sire Uh Oh Bango.
Takeo Squared
Takeo Squared is all heart and class - traits that have served him well in both his racing career and retirement. He broke his maiden as a two-year-old and launched himself into Stakes company. "Takeo" finished second in the California Cup Turf Sprint Stakes, third in the Del Mar Juvenile Turf Stakes, fourth in the Zuma Beach Stakes and fourth in the Cecil B. DeMille Stakes (Gr.3).
He has taken up permanent residence with Aftercare Charity United Pegasus Foundation and would love to have a sponsor.
